Service Manager

Campers Inn RV is looking for a Service Manager to lead our service team in your town!

What You'll Do

As Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service department, focusing on both operational excellence and team development. You will:

  • Supervise and motivate service department staff to achieve performance and technician productivity goals.
  • Manage all aspects of fixed operations, including scheduling, inventory management, and facility upkeep.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs, maintenance, and reconditioning work.
  • Maintain company equipment, including autos, golf carts, and tractors.
  • Monitor parts usage and coordinate with the parts department for efficient supply flow.
  • Ensure OSHA compliance and uphold company safety standards.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive customer retention (CSI) by delivering a positive, transparent, and professional service experience.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and evaluating service team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two years in an RV or automotive service management role preferred.
  • Abilities:
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage fixed operations efficiently and profitably.
    • Knowledge of technician productivity metrics and service workflow optimization.
    • Commitment to outstanding customer service and customer retention (CSI) performance.
    • Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations affecting service operations.
    • Computer proficiency with dealership management systems and scheduling software.
    • Ability to lift 50 lbs and work safely around machinery and vehicles.
