Accounting Posting Specialist
Campers Inn RV is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Posting Specialist to join our growing accounting team! In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records through precise data entry accuracy and posting, preparing and verifying journal entries, and ensuring the integrity of our general ledger (GL). The ideal candidate will be organized, analytical, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

What You'll Do
As an Accounting Posting Specialist, you’ll help keep our financial systems running smoothly and ensure that all transactions are recorded with care and accuracy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Posting deals daily while reviewing and auditing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintaining data entry accuracy and posting standards for all financial transactions.
- Preparing and reconciling journal entries and ensuring that all transactions are properly reflected in the general ledger (GL).
- Posting tag and title payments for assigned locations in a timely manner.
- Processing and reconciling trade payoffs and direct purchases.
- Assisting with the preparation of management reports and supporting financial audits as needed.
- Communicating effectively with internal departments and external partners to resolve discrepancies.
- Performing additional accounting duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years in a similar accounting or posting role.
- Abilities:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger (GL) processes.
- Proven ability to maintain data entry accuracy and posting across multiple systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software (dealer management system experience a plus).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to spot and correct errors in journal entries or transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Discretion when handling confidential financial information.
