It's easy to get caught up in daily routines and forget about what's important. Last year, right about this time I, Bernie the RV Guy, spent a week in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer. I lost about 40% of my blood and had to receive a significant amount of blood transfusions. All in all it was about 8 pints of blood plus several liters of saline solution. Thank goodness the blood was available. It took about a month to recover. I can't imagine how long my recovery would have taken had the blood not been available. With that being said, I am happy to announce the following.
Elks Lodge # 720 in association with The American Rd Cross hosts a Community Blood Drive Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month. The doors open at 2:30 PM and it runs to 7:30 PM. Next drive will be held on Thursday, 12/18 @ 2:30
